01.17 - Semester Evaluation Presentations

At the beginning of class today, I reviewed the format and content of project teams' end of semester evaluation presentation. After reviewing the different elements of this presentation, I gave everyone a copy of the presentation outline document.

I also provided project teams with the course aims for our class to help in the course evaluation portion of this presentation.

Everyone had the rest of the period to work. I checked in with groups to take note of which people were responsible for which portions of the presentation and then was on hand to answer questions and process the set up of the presentation.

Homework

Continue working on your area of your project team's presentation evaluating successes and areas for change. 

Continue working on your research project at home (finding resources, creating note cards, building your outline, and writing your paper). The rubric for the research paper is available here.

Complete work associated with your team's project as necessary.

Complete missing work and revise any assignment that scored below a 92.

Revised work she be submitted by Tuesday, 1/21 in order to be included on the 2nd quarter grade report. Work submitted after this day, will still be graded and entered into the grade book, it just will not be in on time to appear on the printed grade report (it will appear on all subsequent grade reports).
